And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people." Luke 2:10

Jesus came to give us life more abundantly, but he never promised it would be without trials. As a matter of fact, in John 16:33 Jesus tells us, "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” 2020 has been a time of trials for many of us. But if we embrace Jesus' words, we can still find Joy in the world. At MyChoice and at Faith House we have experienced moments of God's love and joy this year. You make that possible. We thank you and we pray for you and your families that you may have a peace filled, joyful Merry Christmas!

At MyChoice our medical Centers have stayed open throughout the pandemic. Our staff and volunteers worked to see patients who need us now, more than ever. We are dedicated to helping women who might be considering abortion. We appreciate your prayers as we minister to their needs with love and compassion to help them face the future with confidence.

We have seen an increase in the number of patients who are coming to us scared to be pregnant during covid-19. Patients like "NP" who was feeling very overwhelmed with her life. She works full-time as an essential worker and already has two small children. Finding out she was pregnant again was not in her plans. She left undecided after her first ultrasound did not yet show the heartbeat. She came in for a second ultrasound and after seeing and hearing the baby's heartbeat, she decided to continue with the pregnancy. Praise God! He spoke to her heart! This is just one of many stories of how God uses us to share His love.

"These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full." John 15:11

2020 brought so many moments where it was evident God is guiding us on His intended path. None more so than the joining of MyChoice Pregnancy Centers with Faith House for Mothers and Children. Together, we are Beacon of Light Pregnancy Support Center. We save unborn lives and heal hurting hearts with the message of the gospel. We appreciate, more than we can express, your support, prayers and kind words. Many of you will write a note or leave a comment on Facebook expressing your gratitude to us for helping the women who seek our services. We are all part of the body of Christ and we are here for them because you are here for us! Together we pray for and empower women to choose life.

One of the big moments of Joy in 2020 was opening the maternity home and moving in our first residents! There are so many volunteers and staff to thank. We are especially grateful to our House Manager, Joyce. She is residing in the house full-time, living with the women who need a safe, supportive place to stay. The first baby is due mid-January. We are excited to meet our first baby girl!

Christmas Greetings from the Board of Directors! Please allow me to begin with a sincere and heartfelt "Thank you!" to our amazing staff and volunteers. Every woman comes to us with unique life experiences and hardships to overcome, in addition to the pandemic. Serving each one with personal care can only be accomplished through the loving hands and hearts of dedicated staff and volunteers who embody our mission. We are so grateful for you!

God has fulfilled His promise to keep our hearts Hope-filled throughout 2020. He revealed Himself over and over again as He poured out His blessings, wisdom and discernment upon us. We look forward to 2021 with great JOY as we seek to continue serving His kingdom and glorifying Him with every moment of service we provide to the "widows and orphans" who come through our doors. Our greatest JOY is found in amazing stories and babies being born, like baby Jadison (pictured above). Out of all the opportunities we offer our patients at MyChoice and the residents at our Maternity Home, the ability to choose life and experience * that moment * is by far the greatest!

Last, but certainly not least, we thank you, our loyal donors. We know some of you are struggling more than others due to the economic impact of the pandemic. We pray with you for God's provision. Although we have not fully met the financial goals we set for 2020, we are committed to growing this ministry and to serving Him with our time and treasure. Will you join us? If you have not yet given to the ministry this year, please consider giving now. If you are a donor, would you tell someone else about our ministry and the work we are doing to save unborn lives and heal hurting hearts with the message of the gospel? 2020 was a challenging year to fundraise and our plans are restricted to what we know we can accomplish with the resources we are blessed with each year. Please watch for our newsletters to see what your contribution enables us to do in 2021! May your holiday season be filled with tidings of comfort and JOY!
