A PRAYER FOR NOVEMBER
BY KATIE HIGGINS '99, VICE PRESIDENT OF MISSION
Faithful God, our Friend,
We trust that You are here with us.
Guide us to recognize your presence
constantly at work in our world
in faith-filled partnership with You,
help us to work to bring forth Your life-giving Spirit
through compassion in the face of indifference,
healing in the face of brokenness,
justice in the face of inequity,
and peace in the face of division.
Amen.

MAGNIFICAT CELEBRATES
NATIONAL HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH
From September 15 - October 15, the Magnificat community spent time learning about and honoring the contributions of notable Hispanic leadersespecially Hispanic womenduring Advisory time each day. We invite you to click here and here to learn more about the culture, history, and contributions of generations of Hispanic Americans. Included below is one of the prayers that students, faculty, and staff reflected on throughout the month.

Creator God,
We thank You for our wondrous diversity, for our cultures, traditions, and languages, for all the ways we celebrate our
humanity and praise Your divinity. We value all peoples, and in this time, we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. May we continue to hear from diverse voices that speak the truth of God's love, peace, and justice for all peoples. In the name of Christ Jesus, our Savior, Redeemer and Friend, we pray. Amen.
