Astek is a Maryland Innovation Initiative (MII) portfolio company that is a University of Maryland Baltimore County spinout that is building a platform ( Eugris) that guides physicians in prescribing appropriate antibiotics for patients with bacterial sepsis in one hour.
Y Combinator is a startup accelerator, based in San Francisco, working with companies to refine their pitch to investors. A highly competitive program, the YC has an approximate 3% acceptance rate.

As part of Governor Larry Hogan's $5M economic relief package, the RUBRIC program is an economic relief initiative to benefit socially and economically disadvantaged and rural early-stage technology-based businesses hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds administered by TEDCO are provided to early-stage companies that are impacted by the current crisis and are in need of bridge funding to survive and prosper as the downturn and COVID-19 crisis subsides.

The I-Corps program is an immersive learning experience developed by the National Science Foundation for researchers, faculty, students, and others to determine if the problem they are working to solve exists on a larger scale in the market.
The next cohort will be taught by Elizabeth Mazhari and will run from September 16th through October 14th. Applications are accepted through September 1st.

Maryland companies poised for growth and expansion are encouraged to apply for the SCALEUP Maryland™ Program, sponsored by the Maryland Department of Commerce and the T. Rowe Price Foundation. This four month program, taught by seasoned entrepreneurs and business development professionals, will help you develop in-depth and targeted strategies for growth. Companies with $500K to $2M in revenue across multiple industries will develop tools to reach their targeted milestones.
