and prepares students to be led by Christ

Dear SJPS families,
The weather has been amazing and it is such a blessing to be able to see the kids outside and having fun at recess! It will be wonderful when this snow melts, daylight continues to stay with us longer and longer, and we continue on our Lenten journey toward Easter.
I have an update on our accreditation visit. I was emailed this week that the two visiting co-chairs would not be at our school as was previously planned but will be with us on Friday, March 5th. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers as we continue to work toward achieving our mission for St. Jerome Parish School. We are ready to help our students journey toward being Christ-centered, service minded, servant leaders of tomorrow!
As noted in the bulletin, the second collection during Lent is for the Tomask Catholic School in Russia. Father Tom coordinated this last year. As a school, each classroom will collect money to go toward the Tomask school. Please help our children collect coins for this wonderful service project!
Our wonderful Mrs. Almazan is teaching our elementary students virtually while awaiting the birth of her second little love. We are very blessed that Mr. John Paul Shimek has been able to adjust his schedule and will be filling in for Mrs. Almazan while she is away. This will be for grades 2 through 5. Please add the Almazan family to your prayers for a healthy last few weeks of pregnancy and a healthy birth for their new expected little one.
PAX,
Mary Johnson
