It’s a concert for everyone featuring Doc’s Garage Band, with lots of songs the kids can dance to, a good old fashioned Gospel medley, and some of the Band’s greatest hits. Top it all off with cookies and ice cream.

When? Saturday June 4^th at 6:00pm

What to bring? A friend and a folding chair or 2, some chairs will be provided until we fill them up. We guarantee plenty of shade, 80 degree temperatures, and a cool breeze…

Planning for Lord's Acre 2022 is underway! Some committees already have chairpersons, but the following committees are still needing chairpersons:

AUMC’s high school seniors will be honored at the 9:00 and 11:00am services. Join us as we wish them well on the next leg of their journey!

Join us for an adult mission trip to the Mission Center in Conroe, Texas! The Mission Center is the warehouse and command center for recovery efforts in The Texas Annual Conference. The warehouse collects, assembles and distributes disaster response equipment and supplies for use in regional disasters. No experience required! We’ll carpool to Conroe and assemble and verify kits in a climate-controlled environment. If you’re interested in joining the team, please email Peggy Badlato. The costs for this trip include hotels and meals.

Aledo UMC has partnered with Center of Hope (COH) to offer Camp Hope in the Oak HIll neighborhood for several years and we plan to offer camp again this summer! Helping hands are needed! Sign-up at the Connection Center or for more info, email Trudy Smith. This is a great opportunity to serve our neighbors and be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ!

Adults needed to supervise crews. Youth are needed to help the adults shepherd the kids around the campus to assist with activities. If you can be there for all 5 nights or just 1 let us know. Java & Jesus is a gathering for “busy moms” who are interested in fellowship and an encouraging Word. No outside reading required. Nursery childcare is provided! Please contact Trudy Smith if you have questions, or if you plan to attend with kiddos, so we have plenty of nursery workers.

The new school year is here! Let's support our local school with prayer. Sign up to pray for a school each week for one month, either in person or by proxy. To pray for the month of May, stop by the Connection Center to sign up for your school.

We have several church members who are no longer able to drive to church. Would you be willing to help a senior church member get to and from worship on Sunday morning? Please sign up at the Connection Center or contact Trudy Smith for more information.

Our Manna Room helps support families in our community; providing them with basic food needs, but also helping to free up some of their income so they can pay their bills or other debts.
