Connect, study, serve, and have fun!
Join us next Sunday!
We're exploring options for this year, I've been in touch with a number of partner organization exploring what might be available, for both a travel trip and a stay-at-home option similar to last year. Your views at this stage are really important, so please take a moment to complete this survey* about comfort levels for either a trip away or a week at home in July. Whether we stay or go as the song says, the dates are July 11th to 17th.

In the meantime, this Sunday looks like this:

10 am - Sunday School - we'll be starting a new series this Sunday, looking at some of the parables that appear in Godspell Junior.

11 am - Confirmation with Stephen, looking at Life after death and our Creeds

4 pm - Youth group for a mix of games and conversation.

All three will be using the same Zoom link.

* Survey closes Wednesday night, so please be quick. I'll text out reminders and the link tomorrow afternoon as well.

Sunday March 7th:
Sunday School at 10 am, Youth Group at 4 pm.

We recognize that for the next few weeks, this means there is a clash between youth group and Godspell rehearsals, but feel this is the best way to offer everyone something on Sunday afternoons without overdoing the amount of time we are on Zoom. It also means we have 2 separate Zoom links for Sunday afternoons, please make sure you click the right one. The Godspell link is further down the page.

Godspell Updates

Thanks for another great virtual rehearsal yesterday! All of you are singing so well! Looking ahead to Sunday, you can see in the master schedule that we have planned to enact the entire show, including all lines and solos. It will be an important rehearsal for us to discover where we are at this point in the process. Here is the full schedule for Sunday:

3:40-4:00 Solo coaching for Cam (3:40) and Ethan (3:45)
4:00-6:00 The full cast will rehearse the entire show!

As was revealed yesterday, we have now created a comprehensive resource for all musical materials, which can be found here. Everyone needs to be listening to the songs outside of rehearsal in order to more fully learn them, and we are asking for everyone to also begin watching and internalizing the group choreography clips in advance of our in-person rehearsals. Three of the choreography clips are already there, and two more are on the way in the coming weeks.

As we approach our outdoor rehearsals, everyone needs to be thinking about their PPE. Click here to see the clear mask that we intend to distribute to all cast members. We believe this will allow your facial expressions to be seen, while still giving you the ability to sing better than a cloth mask allows. If you have concerns about the use of this particular mask for any reason, please don't hesitate to let us know, as we want everyone to feel as safe and comfortable as possible.

Please use this Zoom link that has been set up for all of our musical rehearsals.
Youth Music Ensembles

If the 10-person gathering restriction is lifted for March, then our projected return date for in-person bells, choir, and strings ensemble will remain March 14. If the restriction is further extended, then be on the lookout for a new plan early next week. The COVID numbers are heading in the right direction, so that's good news regardless of our plans. In the meantime, thank you to everyone who submitted a "Lead Me, Lord" recording. Be sure to tune in this Sunday to see it!
