For Ukraine: A Prayer for Peace
by Pope Francis
Lord God of Peace, hear our prayer! Come to our aid!
Grant us peace, teach us peace;
Guide our steps in the way of peace.
Open our eyes and our hearts,
And give us the courage to say: “Never again war!”
Lord, god of Abraham, God of the Prophets, God of Love,
Give us the strength daily to be instruments of peace;
Enable us to see everyone who crosses our path as our brother or sister.
Lord, defuse the violence of our tongues and our hands.
Renew our hearts and minds,
So that the word which always brings us together will be “brother,”
And our way of life will always be that of:
Shalom, Peace, Salaam!

Neighborhood Assistance Act
Tax Credits Available!
|
|
Donations to Catholic Charities qualify for tax credits under the Delaware State Housing Authority’s Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA) Program.
Individuals and businesses that expect to pay Delaware State income taxes can use the Neighborhood Assistance Program to provide valuable assistance to our programs, while reducing their tax liability.
In exchange for a qualified contribution, the donor receives state tax credits equal to 50% of their contribution. For example, a contribution of $5,000 qualifies for $2,500 in tax credits.
Minimum eligible donation for a Business is $10,000 and an Individual is $2,500. Delaware State Housing Authority’s staff members review applications and award the credits on a first-come, first-served basis. Each year a maximum of $500,000 in tax credits is available.
