North Country Good Life is Live!
The North Country Chamber of Commerce is excited to unveil a new recruitment and relocation website, North Country Good Life, which will help attract new talent to the region and assist those considering moving to the area by highlighting all that the Plattsburgh - Adirondack Coast region has to offer.

North Country Good Life was specifically designed to help our North Country employers (colleges, hospitals, manufacturers, and more) communicate to prospective out-of-area employees what we all already know - that the North Country is a great place to live, work, and raise a family!

The new site has all of the information that one would need to know before making the decision to move to a new area such as: quality of local schools and childcare, healthcare and eldercare resources, major employers, and recreational opportunities.

We hope that you'll check it out, and maybe even link it on your own company website, using the link below!
Clinton County goes from Yellow to Red on Vermont's travel restriction map!
Recently Clinton County has gone from yellow to red on Vermont's travel restriction map. This means that the counties active cases per million have increased to 800+ and not the 400-799 active cases per million it was last week. It is important to note that all Clinton County residents must still abide by the same Vermont travel restrictions released last week.

Here are a few key facts and questions:

People traveling for essential purposes, including work, do not need to quarantine -- Essential travel includes travel for personal safety, medical care, care of others, parental shared custody, for food, beverage or medicine, to attend pre K-12 school and college if commuting daily, or to perform work for businesses that are currently allowed to operate.

Can I drive to the Burlington airport and take a flight out? Yes, but you cannot stop along the way or stay the night as they will have forms you have to fill out at the hotels to say you are quarantining.

Can I fly to the Burlington airport and drive home to Clinton county? Yes, as long as you do not stop in between the airport and the ferry.

Can we take a day trip to Vermont to go shopping or eat a meal in Vermont? Unfortunately, you cannot.

What if I need to spend the night in Burlington before or after a flight, or a trip to the hospital or just leisure? Trips for medical purposes are OK, other than that you would have to quarantine in VT for 14 days. Leisure travel through Vermont is not permitted.
