Resources for Social Workers
This guide was created as part of an independent study project for SW 556 during the Fall 2019 semester by UM MSW students. This guide compiles informational resources to educate ourselves about various identities, as well as strategies for approaching inequity. While it is currently organized by separate identities, the importance of intersectionality is recognized as a framework where multiple intersecting positionalities influence how we navigate the world.
This is a living document that will evolve over time and we hope you will use this document to both learn AND to contribute resources around topic areas where you have lived experiences and knowledge to share.
