YOU Make Stories Like Susie's Possible!
Susie knew her parents fought a lot. She would hear them yell, and watch her father give her mother an allowance each week for groceries. After attending a Human Options "Safe Dates for Teens" program at school, she quickly realized that what was happening in her home was relationship violence.

She decided to talk to her mother about what she had learned, and the services and support available through Human Options. With her daughter's support, Susie's mother gained the courage to engage Human Options. Today, Susie and her mother are discovering safety and healing.

Thanks to the support of our community partners like you, children like Susie and their families have more access to programs that will keep them safe from relationship violence.

"Our goal is to educate our youth early, increase protection from abusers and decrease any risk for future abuse," said Judith Rose, Chief Program Officer.

Through this valuable program, Susie was able to break the cycle of abuse in her family by learning about the warning signs. Thank you for making this possible!
