Pasco Machine for all of the work you've donated working on our store donation pickup truck:

Together with Pacific Steel they redid the truck bed decking for the bed of the truck and installed new safety rail handles on the ladder of the truck.
Designed and installed battery security box to prevent the theft and vandalism of our truck batteries.
Designed and installed a custom gas cap to lock our gas tank and prevent the theft of our gasoline.
Designed and installed a bearing case and pully for the air conditioning unit in the truck. The part was no longer manufactured, and they made one based on the schematic of the old pully system.

Special shout outs to Jason Story (Owner), Rick Perez (General Manager), Chase Dailey (Shop Supervisor), Joe Benoit (Shop foreman), Steve Escobar (Welder) and Doug Hunsaker with Pacific Steel who donated the material for the truck bed.

We are so grateful for you!

A group from Columbia Bank donated their Saturday to build alongside new Habitat homeowner Kyaw Htoo and prepare for his home dedication on December 5th. Thank you for supporting his family's dream of owning a decent and affordable place to call home!

You Can Help!

We need volunteers in the Habitat store and at the construction site.

Pasco Construction Site:

Monday - Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
Crews start at 8:00 AM and end at 2:30 PM.
We need crew leads! If you are skilled in construction and willing to commit to leading a crew, please complete the volunteer application and let us know you are interested.

We need skilled volunteers to help with the tasks listed below.
Framing – layout, frame walls, stand walls, plumb and line
Trusses – layout, roll trusses, build valleys and install bracing
Roof Sheeting – install outlookers, sub fascia and OSB sheeting
Siding – install T1-11 and lap siding
Drywall – hang sheetrock

Habitat Store:

Cashier
Greeting customers as they enter the store
Answering questions about store items
Using POS system to complete transactions
Answering the store phone
Organizing the store

Warehouse Associate
Receives item donations at the back of the Habitat Store
Write tax receipts for donor
Process donations (cleaning, testing, etc.)
Move items to sales floor
Assist customers by loading items into their vehicles

Grants Coordinator

Job summary:

The Grants Coordinator maintains the grant management responsibilities of the organization. The GC reports directly to the Executive Director and manages the grant volunteer(s). The GC will also work closely with all TCP’s department managers, coordinators, and relevant staff. Primary duties include but are not limited to: researching grant funding, maintaining an annual calendar of grant activity and deadlines, and writing and submitting grant proposals. The position is part-time (approximately 20-25 hours per week). Hourly rate will be determined by experience.

Habitat home #138 was dedicated on Saturday, December 5th. Kyaw Htoo has been on site every Saturday working on their 500 hour sweat equity. Volunteers contributed 1977 hours to complete this home and we'd like to highlight Paul Roberts (139.5 hours), Ben Moyers (121.5 hours), Doug Hamrick (155.25 hours), and Christian Glissmeyer (116 hours) for volunteering more than 100 hours each on this house alone.
