Your Gift Matters
Please include OLLI in your end of year giving and be a part of the OLLI Culture of Giving!
OLLI encourages everyone to participate in our Culture of Giving in which every member gives in some way.

Your donation at any level makes a difference.

Your gift will strengthen the OLLI program’s accessibility and help position us for success now and when we are able to safely return to campus.

Your gift will provide:
  • Technology Tools, Equipment, and Support for our current virtual learning environment and for creative experiences even when we return to campus.
  • Improvements to our Online Registration System.
  • Hearing Equipment for every classroom when we return to campus.
  • Scholarships that eliminate financial barriers to membership and enhance the diversity of our classrooms.

Thank you!
If you have questions about making a gift through your Donor Advised Fund or Stocks, or you want to discuss Planned Giving, please contact: David Nacol, Assistant VP Schools & Programs, Alumni Relations & Development at d-nacol@northwestern.edu

Enriching African-American History Curriculum in Illinois Public Schools

Thursday, January 21, noon - 1pm
Location: Online webinar via Zoom

Join OLLI for an enlightening discussion of possible changes to the statewide history curriculum, where a more complete Black History would be taught in all Illinois public schools — a curriculum that includes the contributions and achievements of Black people during pre-enslavement history, slavery, civil rights, and more. Our presenter, Meleika Gardner, will talk about the call for complete and accurate Black history education for all students and the removal of educational material that is or may be derogatory towards people of color, and replacing it with diverse books that can build self-esteem and create healthy race relations.

You will need to sign in to your OLLI Online Registration account to register.

Beware of Spam Emails!
Some OLLI members have recently received spam emails. These emails look like they relate to OLLI programs but are actually sent from hackers. Clicking on links within these emails may create vulnerability to your private information as well as that of OLLI and OLLI members.

With much of the world moving to an online format, hackers are more active than ever. As a result we all need to be more vigilant in our online activity.
