Bill's Toggery
138 Lewis St. S, Shakopee

Help celebrate the grand opening of The Custom Shoppe at Bill's Toggery by joining us for a ribbon cutting on Friday, February 21, in Downtown Shakopee.

The newly renovated custom-fitted menswear shop brings an iconic and first-class shopping experience for men. Now in its 3rd generation, Bill's Toggery has built a business based on high quality, unsurpassed fit, and exceptional service all steeped in history. Before Bill's Toggery, the location was once The People's Bank with deep ties to Charles Lindbergh. In fact, Lindbergh's first airplane was purchased with money from this bank. This iconic story is told through the decor in the Custom Shoppe, and inside, you'll find a vault entirely painted in a mural that depicts the spirit of St. Louis flying from New York City to Paris.

See the incredible space and learn about the family-owned business that has provided exceptional service in menswear for almost a century!

MEMBER NEWS
Shakopee Chamber Annual Meeting Award Winners

Each year two businesses that exhibited remarkable leadership, engagement, and involvement receive the Member Business of the Year Award, and one Ambassador who most championed the Chamber is awarded the Ambassador of the Year.

We are thrilled to announce  Menden Accounting & Tax Service and Associated Payroll Services as the winner of the 2019 Member Business of the Year with 25 Employees or Less and  St. Francis Regional Medical Center as the winner of the 2019 Member Business of the Year with 25 Employees or More. The 2019 Ambassador of the Year is Mike Louden, President of  Mortgage Avenue

Messages from the award winners:
Roger Menden, President of Menden Accounting & Tax Service:
We are proud to be a supporter of the Shakopee Chamber and honored to be the 2019 Member Business of the Year-25 Employee or Less.  We are fortunate to have the resources that allow us to give back to the community and we would be remiss if we didn't give credit to our team.  They are truly the reason that allows us to continue supporting the Shakopee Chamber this past year and the years to come.

Michael Morris, Director of Business Development at St. Francis Regional Medical Center:
St. Francis is honored to be named Shakopee Chamber of Commerce's Member Business of the Year in the large business category and we take pride in serving residents and visitors in Shakopee and the surrounding communities. We're proud to be involved in organizations like the Chamber, and value the positive impact the Chamber's work has on the community and area businesses.

Mike Louden, President of Mortgage Ave:
It is an honor to be the 2019 Ambassador of the Year. Receiving this recognition is an emotional experience, as Shakopee is my home and where my children are being raised. When the opportunity came to bring back Mortgage Avenue, I felt Downtown Shakopee is where I needed to be which allowed me to get more involved in the community. I am proud to represent my business and support the Shakopee Chamber through the Ambassador program.
