Sea Pines Trolley Service to Resume June 22 with Modified Hours of Operation
|
|
Sea Pines CSA Trolley Service (Red, Green, and Blue Trolley Routes) to resume June 22 through September 7, 2020
Safety remains our top priority as we resume Trolley service to the Blue, Green and Red Routes during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have implemented enhanced safety protocols and modified hours of operation in light of COVID-19 which can be found below.

Trolleys will operate at 50% capacity. Trolley riders are asked to please be patient as increased wait times are expected for this service on all routes.

The trolley service to the Blue, Green and Red Routes will operate June 22 - September 7, 2020 with the following modified services times:

9am - 5pm
Harbour Town Trolley Stop to Sea Pines Beach Club and stops at Harbour Town Swimming Pool, Racquet Club Villas, Heritage Pad at Lighthouse & Plantation, The Shops at Sea Pines Center, Plantation Club Villas and Plantation Golf Club

For your safety: Enhanced safety protocols:
- Request to riders: Please be advised, close contact amongst passengers is expected. Passengers ride at their own risk. If you feel sick, have a fever, cough or other symptoms, please stay home and do not ride the trolley. Wash your hands frequently and avoid touching your face. Riders should practice social distancing when waiting for the trolley and when queuing and boarding the trolley.
- Personal Protection Equipment is required: All passengers and trolley drivers will be required to wear cloth masks or face coverings when aboard the trolley. Refusal to wear a mask or face covering or acting in an unsafe manner will result in denial of entry or expulsion from this service.
- General Trolley Information: Trolleys will operate at 50% capacity. Staff will continuously monitor capacity levels on all trolleys to determine if additional reduction in seating capacity is needed. The trolleys will be cleaned with disinfectant sprays and all hard surfaces and high-touch areas will be cleaned at the end of service on a daily basis. The driver reserves the right to deny service.

The RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing will be conducted from June 15-21 at Harbour Town Golf Links.
- Due to COVID-19, the 52nd RBC Heritage tournament will be played without spectators and the traditional activities that surround the event.
- Pathways in and around the golf course area will be roped and blocked off to prevent spectating.
- Standing, stopping, and sitting along leisure paths within the tournament zone will not be permitted.
- Only authorized credentialed personnel will be permitted access to the golf course during the tournament and violators will be prosecuted.
- Harbour Town will be accessible for dining and shopping by walking, biking, ridesharing/taxi service, or by using the Park and Ride Transportation Service from the Greenwood Drive Trolley station with drop off at the Harbour Town Circle.

Modified Harbour Town Transportation Service
|
|
Park and ride transportation service from Greenwood Drive Trolley Station to Harbour Town, June 15-21 from 8am-10pm daily
Due to tournament security checkpoints, a transportation service to Harbour Town will be available through Sunday, June 21. This service is to provide access to dining and shopping in the Harbour Town area. The transportation service will be available from the Greenwood Drive Trolley station to the Harbour Town Circle near the breezeway. We anticipate high usage of this service, delays should be expected.
- Pick- up and Drop off locations: Greenwood Drive Trolley Station located at Lot 1 and Harbour Town Circle near the breezeway
- Dates of Service: Monday, June 15- Sunday, June 21
- Hours of operation: 8:00 am -10:00 pm
- Parking: Vehicle parking is available at Lot 1 and 2 (entry on Greenwood Drive) to access the transport service

Roadside Mulching
- Please be aware that roadside mulching will continue next week in select areas along Greenwood Drive, weather permitting.
- Intermittent closures may be necessary and flagmen will be present to assist with traffic flow. Drivers should use caution in these designated work zones.
South Beach Drainage Work
- The Town of Hilton Head will continue work in proximity to South Beach Marina Village next week, weather permitting. Traffic detours will be provided as needed.
Sea Pines Drive Survey Work
- Sea Pines CSA contracted engineers will be performing survey and roadway investigation work along Sea Pines Drive, next week, weather permitting.
- Flagmen will be present to assist with traffic flow as needed.
