All Saints Day Photo Parade
To celebrate our parish's Holy Day - ALL SAINTS DAY, November 1st - we invite you to dress up as your favorite Saint and take a photo! You can do this as a family or as individuals...there are so many fun Saints to choose from - religious, royalty, angels, lay people, biblical characters. Don't forget that Saints are also "patrons" of various things, such as music, pets, firefighters, medical professionals, teachers, etc so the possibilities are truly limitless!

Check out some ideas here:

Email your photo to emulvey@allsaints.cc by 9 pm on October 31, and I will make a video to share on All Saints Day including everyone who sends in a photo! Hold a sign so we know what Saint you are...or include the name of your Saint in the email, and I will add a label to the photo.
All Saints Campus Scavenger Hunt
It seems as though some saints have been visiting our campus in honor of All Saints Day! St. Joseph may have been looking for some tools in the maintenance garage, St. Lucy may be keeping her eyes on the gaga pit, St. John Bosco may have been trying to get into the gym equipment closet for some fun games, and Carlo Acutis (not a Saint yet, but almost) may have been checking out what Mrs. Mulvey was posting online for our religious ed. programs.

There are 24 images scattered OUTDOORS around All Saints campus of various saint symbols. Print off the attached list of saints and their coordinating symbols so kids and the young-at-heart can keep track of the lost items as they walk about campus. The scavenger hunt will be available through the month of November. Get out and explore!

Annual Advent Celebration
Each year, religious education families in Summer, Homeschool and Sunday PREP have come together to celebrate Advent and pray together. This year, we are offering you an at-home prayer service and paint your own pottery take-home kits through Star Glazers.

Here's how it works:

  • The purple button link below includes a sign up pdf form where you can select your pick up and drop off dates and the pieces you would like to have included in the kit - each FLOCK student gets one complementary piece of pottery to paint!
  • On the form linked below, you can indicate which week you'd like to participate. If more than one of the week options works for your family, please check all the weeks that could work for you.
  • These kits will be available for pick up from the parish center over the 4 weekends in November, leading up to Advent - the Catholic New Year!
  • After you return the kit, the pieces will be kiln-fired and available for your pick up before Christmas!

We truly hope that many will participate in our modified, annual Advent Celebration!

Each FLOCK student gets one FREE pottery item to paint at home! Please select your pieces on the form below and scan and email it to us, drop it off or snail mail it to the Parish Office.
Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is a wonderful outreach opportunity All Saints Parish families can participate in with their children. OCC delivers shoeboxes filled with school supplies, hygiene items and fun toys to children worldwide! We are asking all members of the parish to participate, by dropping off a shoebox at the home of All Saints parishioner and neighbor, Becky Keating between November 9-20. Please place your box on the covered front porch at 8832 Sandymar Drive and we'll take care of the rest. Click here to watch a video as a family detailing how this project reaches children across the globe, and further explore how to pack a shoebox when you're ready. If you would prefer not to shop for items in store, or if you simply don't have the time, a box can be built online

OCC is a great project for these times we’re living in and due to our Thanksgiving Baskets and Giving Tree programs needing to be so much less hands on and community-building this year (we are only able to do financial donations to these wonderful, long-standing All Saints initiatives). Operation Christmas Child is a good way to help those in need and to be hands-on safely. Families can track their shoeboxes when/if they register online and donate the $9 shipping cost and, then you can actually see what country your gifts arrive in. Pretty cool😊.

Tip on the shoeboxes – you can order one from OCC, decorate an actual shoe box that you have access to, or even use a plastic shoebox. You can also decorate a plastic shoebox if you go that route, and the benefit there I’ve learned through OCC is that the plastic shoebox is part of the gift and is very appreciated and put to good use long after Christmas.

Winter Collection
WINTER COAT, JACKET, SCARF, GLOVES, HAT COLLECTION
Our 10th Annual Winter Coat Drive has begun. We so much appreciate your generosity! We will keep collecting your gifts of warmth thru Monday November 2.

The All Saints YOUTH ROOM STEPS (West side of the North Wing of our Church) is the place to bring your gently worn (or graciously new) cold weather gear … coats, jackets, hats, gloves, scarves. You’ll be keeping warm someone whom you may never meet but may long remember. We’ll deliver all donations in early November to the West End Pantry at Saint Joseph’s Parish, and to Holy Family School in Price Hill. Thank for your generosity to those who may be very cold without your very warm heart.
