To Staff and the Twin Rivers School Community,
Much respect to all of you as we continue to adapt under tremendous challenges and unique circumstances. Moving forward as one community, we returned from Thanksgiving break to announcements that COVID cases are surging. Governor Gavin Newsom announced he will implement more restrictive conditions during this holiday season to help minimize the spread and prevent hospitals from becoming overwhelmed. While that’s not the news anyone wants to hear, we remain focused on a return to some in-person instruction on Jan. 19, 2021. It is imperative that we maintain this target so that we can continue to ready our schools for a safe return of staff and students.
The governor issued a new regional stay-at-home order on Thursday, Dec. 3, but as I write this the order has not yet gone into effect.
