It is important to share reliable facts about COVID-19 vaccines with Ohioans. There are many myths about COVID-19 vaccines. This misinformation can hinder our recovery and present health dangers. Certain groups of Ohioans, such as minority communities and populations with limited access to healthcare, may be more hesitant to get COVID-19 vaccines, wanting to “wait and see” how it goes for others who are receiving their vaccines. The diverse workforce represented in the hotel & lodging industry will benefit from receiving the best information possible.
Ohio is hosting COVID-19 Vaccine Town Halls to help Ohioans sift through the myths and learn where they can find reliable, trustworthy information about COVID-19 vaccines. Each Town Hall will feature information presented by medical experts, community leaders, and public health professionals.
The events will be streamed live and do not require registration. You can watch on the official Ohio Coronavirus portal, Facebook or YouTube. Each date focuses on elements of the vaccination specific to certain populations. OHLA encourages you to share this information with associates.
