Uniform policy:

●     Full OMC uniforms are to be worn each day, with school shoes. (please refer to the OMC school handbook/uniform policy)
●     OMC hoodies are permitted
●     No hoods are to be worn inside of the school building during the school day
●     No ear pods, smartwatches, or phones are allowed to be used during the academic day.

Terra Nova testing (grades 3 to 7):

●     Get a good night’s sleep
●     # 2 sharpened pencils are needed for the testing sessions
●     Eat a good breakfast
●     Give your child words of encouragement
●     Keep a prayer in your heart

Congratulations to our 3rd and 4th grade CYO boys basketball team on finishing strong winning their final game this season!
Track is back 

We’ll have a full CYO Track and Field season this year, including CYO Night at the Penn Relays, and the Archdiocesan Championship at Franklin Field. 

All parish children born between 2007 and 2012 are welcome!

Practice starts on Tuesday, March 15th, at the track at
LaSalle College High School, from 5:30 to 6:45pm. 
We’ll practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  

Region 10 Ribbon meets are on Sundays at 1pm, also at LaSalle,
from the end of March through the beginning of May.

Details are attached, and the cost is $90 per runner.

PARENT INFORMATION SHEET
Pee Wee Basketball

For boys and girls in first and second grades will begin on Tuesday, March 8th. 

The program will run for six weeks on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:30. Practices will be at Elite Sports Factory on 5050 Umbria Street in Roxborough.

We are taking this year to target this program for first and second graders to build their skills and prepare them for the 3rd/4th grade teams.

Emmett Kline (grade 5) and the Wissahickon Warriors 10u ice hockey team won the DVHL Championship on Sunday February 27th.

Student Council Corner 
Student Council will be hosting a Dress Down Day on March 17th to benefit the
Live Like Lois Foundation.
This foundation was created by Ms. Haley Kelly (Kindergarten) and her family to benefit children from low income families suffering with cancer in memory of her mother Lois Kelly.

  • Rice bowls will be sent home with the youngest child in a family next week. Money collected through the rice bowls goes to combating hunger around the world.
  • Parents' prayer has resumed. We meet Fridays at 8:30 in the rectory when it is cold and outside when it is nice out.
HSA Information & Events

The Spring Soiree is the Home and School Association’s biggest fundraiser. Our 2022 goal is to increase the amount of items included in our auction this year so more families can participate and to increase funds raised for the school.
