Rocket Report

Vol. 4, No. 11, October 23rd
Words with Wilson
The 1st Quarter has come to a close, and the Friday before break we were able to celebrate our Honor Roll recipients. We had 91 of our 5th -8th grade students on some form of Honor Roll. We are so proud of the hard work our students put in everyday, and we love to have the opportunity to celebrate our Rockets!

Election Day- Virtual Learning Day
Tuesday, November 3, 2020
On Tuesday, November 3rd, St. Roch Catholic School will be E-Learning. Below you will find the schedule for the day.

Our preschool and Pre-K students will not have any E-learning for the day. Kindergarten-4th grade students will bring home their work on Monday, that is to be completed on Tuesday. Since this E-Learning is just for one day, we do not feel the need to go LIVE for our younger grades. We feel like it would be very difficult on our parents and grandparents for these younger students.

Our 5th-8th grade students will be having LIVE instruction. They will be allowed to bring their Chromebook home on Monday. They are all well versed in Google Classroom, so they should be able to navigate their learning.

5th and 6th Grade
5th Grade Language Arts- 9:00 am
6th Grade Math- 9:00 am

5th Grade Math -10:00 am
6th Grade Language Arts - 10:00 am

Social Studies, science and religion will send assigned work home on Monday.

7th and 8th Grade
7th Grade Language Arts- 9:00 am
8th Grade SS- 9:00 am

7th Grade SS- 10:00 am
8th Grade Language Arts- 10:00 am

Math, science and religion will send assigned work on Monday. Students will access their LIVE classes via google classroom. They have been trained and do this everyday, so they should be able to navigate very easily.

Thank you for your support of this last minute calendar change.
