AIANTA Highlights for the Coming Week
Take a Look at Our Amazing Go International Speakers
April 19-20, 2022

AIANTA’s annual two-day Go International is just one month away! We've confirmed some amazing speakers, including

  • Kate Anderson (Citizen Potawatomi), Director of Public Relations; Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians
  • Jeri Clausing, Co-Founder; Travel Essentials
  • Anina Grasso, Director of Travel Experiences Development; Destination America
  • Richard Launder, President and CEO, Destination America
  • Patty Talahongva (Hopi), Senior Correspondent, ICT (Indian Country Today)
  • Indalecio Vallejos, Director, New Mexico; U.S. Commercial Service

All our speakers will bring actionable tips and advice on attracting international travelers, building group business and working with the media. The two-day event concludes with a hands-on workshop where you will pitch your tourism product to an industry tour operator and get practical advice on what they are and aren't looking for in their Indigenous tourism partners.

Thanks to Our Go International Sponsors
AIANTA extends a warm thanks to Navajo Nation Parks and Recreation and Isleta Resort & Casino for sponsoring this event! Additional sponsorships are still available so please contact us if you're interested.

America250 is Seeking Native Input
Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 3:00 p.m.

As the U.S. approaches the 250th (semi-quincentennial) anniversary of its formation as a united nation, the America250 Foundation is seeking Native input on what the commemoration should look like. America250 is seeking Native American, Native Hawaiian and Alaska Native participation for its first-ever Tribal Advisory Group Meeting, held via Zoom, on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. (EDT). Learn more about the America250 Tribal Partnerships effort.

The advisory group and event are hosted by America250 and are not part of an AIANTA program. Questions and input should be sent to America250 directly.
