Dear WH&LA Members,
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers just announced the grant awards for the state’s hotel and lodging facilities who have been hit by COVID-19. We are glad to report that the grant amounts are higher than the State originally projected. You can read the Governor’s press release here, and see a listing of the grants here. As we understand it, each awardee will be sent an agreement that will need to be signed prior to disbursement of the funds.
Of course, we thank the Governor and the Department of Administration for working to help our industry during these devastating times. We will continue to advocate for the lodging community within the Evers administration, with our state legislators, and at the Federal level as we know more support and protections are needed to keep our industry afloat.
