Savannah, GA, August 12, 2021 - Live Oak Public Libraries is pleased to announce Michael (Mike) Fullerton as Director of Information Technology.

Fullerton, along with the Information Technology Team and Library Leadership, work closely with Community Library Managers and staff across the library system to ensure access to technology is meeting the needs of our community today as well as anticipating improvements as our community grows and changes.

Fullerton comes to Live Oak Public Libraries with over 25 years of experience in Information Technology, including senior technology leadership roles at both Memorial Health and St. Joseph’s/Candler. He is also a 12 year US Navy veteran, having served as a Nuclear Reactor Operator on a fast attack submarine.

Fullerton holds a Master of Business Administration as well as a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. He has numerous industry certifications including Certified Healthcare Chief Information Officer (CHCIO), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
