As a nonprofit organization, Main Street Alexander City relies on donations and memberships to accomplish our goals. We are dedicated to the revitalization, promotion and restoration of historic downtown Alexander City. From strengthening current businesses to promoting the successes of new businesses, we are focused on attracting shoppers, tourists and prospective clients to our downtown. We do all this while still preserving the historic character and charm to our Main Street District.
Your donation enables us to host community events that are free to the public; provide grant opportunities to the small businesses who need it most; and complete much-needed projects that bring vibrance and a community-feel to our downtown. Ventures such as putting lights in the trees, installing decorative garbage cans and outdoor tables and decorating downtown with American flags at Memorial Day are all projects that were made possible by your generous donations.
