21 Years of Consulting


The Florida SBDC at FAU celebrates Parbatee Chang this month after 21 years of dedicated service to the network. Chang joined the SBDC at FAU in 2000 as a business consultant. She joined excited to use her knowledge and expertise. She is a highly respected expert in the areas of quality management systems, accreditation and quality system audits, and she works with companies interested in expanding their markets internationally. She was also awarded the International Business Woman of the Year Award in 2014 and for the last three years several of her clients earned awards like Exporter of the Year Award for Florida, South Florida Manufacturer of the Year and the President's Export Award.

Parbatee, the Florida SBDC at FAU wishes you the best in your retirement and thank you for all you have done. Please help us wish her well.
Community-Based Technical Assistance

Recently the Florida SBDC at FAU received funding from the Citi Foundation to support the continued work in providing technical assistance to small businesses owned by people of color that have been disproportionately impacted by the unprecedented health, social and economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Funding in the Community

The Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) has implemented a series of programs, collectively called Investing in America’s Communities, to equitably invest $3 billion to help communities across the country build their lives back better. Communities across the country will now be able to apply for funding immediately.

Virtual Marketing Plan
