Can I Come in the Library?
Yes! The first floor (new books, adult fiction, nonfiction, large print, CDs, DVDs and other media, magazines) will be open for browsing during the designated hours above. A large portion of the children's collection will also be available on the first floor. Gloves are highly recommended while browsing and are available as you enter the building.
Do I Have to Wear a Mask and Social Distance?
The health of our patrons and staff is a top priority. Masks are required to be worn correctly over your mouth and nose while in the library. We also ask that you social distance. If a patron has a medical condition and cannot wear a mask, it is requested that they speak to a staff member at the library desk; accommodations will be made for people with medical conditions.
Do I Have to Make an Appointment to Browse?
No, but you are encouraged to do so, as there is a maximum capacity of twenty patrons in the building at one time.
What If I Want a Specific Book That's on the Second Floor or in the Attic?
Ask a staff member to locate it for you. We are more than happy to help.
Can I Still Use the Computers?
There is a limited number of public workstations available. We ask that you limit your computer usage session to 30 minutes. Call the library to schedule an appointment.
