Message from the Interim Executive Director
Dear Colleagues,

How are you? Your commitment, perseverance, and creativity throughout the extraordinary difficulties of the past two years has been so inspiring and encouraging. We are honored to be your partner.

We are right now finalizing this year’s plans for training and forums, setting up special mixer events, and commissioning a new Socio-Economic Impact Report. And, we are just beginning to plan the 2022 Nonprofit Awards Celebration!

Please join us for our very first virtual training of the year with communications professional Ken Peterson, Senior Content Strategist for the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Ken has agreed to share his secrets of how to frame, tailor and deliver stories that motivate others to move your mission. Read on for more details and how to register.

As we look forward to supporting your work, we plan to provide all programming in person as often as feasible and virtually as often as needed. Most programs will continue to be taped and available for replay and sharing. Training and forums will continue to be available free of charge. Mixers and the award celebration will continue to be at low-cost with discounts for members.

Join Ken Peterson, Senior Content Strategist for the Monterey Bay Aquarium, in a fast-paced hour dedicated to the art, craft, and magic of storytelling with a purpose. He will be sharing tips and techniques and taking your questions and comments.

Learn how to collect, adapt, and share the stories you already have in new ways that create more meaningful connections, instill a greater sense of urgency, and inspire more significant and more lasting support from everyone who listens.
