Dear EAMS Students and Families,
On Tuesday, EAMS welcomed hundreds of families to school to celebrate the accomplishments of our staff and students this year. It was amazing to see the student ownership and voice in their projects. The student’s really shined in discussing their learning, and we are so proud of them!
Construction continued on our outdoor classroom this week with over 50 6th-graders gaining “on-the-job” experiences--including the weather! This is a shining example of what school-community partnerships can accomplish. A special thank you to the EAMS PTO, Adam’s Electric, Wausau Homes, Elkhorn Kiwanis Club, and Muzatko Concrete for giving our students an experience they will never forget!
Next week we will continue our multiweek unit on “Managing Relationships and Social Conflict.” Students will learn strategies for developing and maintaining healthy relationships, perspective-taking, and dealing with conflict. The lessons for that unit are linked here:
8th-Grade Moving On:

We are seeking pictures (one baby/kindergarten and one 8th grade) of every student to show at the Moving On Celebration. The following link can be used to submit pictures.

The Moving On Celebration is on June 3rd from 5:30-9 PM at EAMS.
- The Moving On Ceremony will be hosted on the last day of school, June 8th, at 12:30 PM. Families are welcome to sign their student(s) out after the event.
