Casco Public Library is pleased to announce our first annual 
Winter Wonderland of Trees
November 17 - December 6  
 
The response has been wonderful and it's not too late to get in on the fun!  Come in Thursday 10-7 or during the Casco Tree Lighting Friday Dec. 6, 6:00 - 7:30! 
 Come in to the Library to view over 20 beautifully decorated trees donated by local businesses, organizations and individuals!  
 
The trees will be raffled off as a fundraiser for the library and if you aren't in Maine this time of year, you can still participate!  Photos are on the website and you can call t
he library and tell us which tree(s) you would like to buy raffles tickets for!
Tickets are sold in bundles so you can take a chance on multiple trees!
10 tickets for $10
25 tickets for $20

Poetry Reading

Carolyn became interested in giraffes when her grandson was little and would like people to know about the plight of giraffes in the wild.  The Giraffe Conservation Foundation works to aid giraffes in the wild.  Click here for more information about their work.

We are pleased to announce a series of four Beginner Ukulele Classes for children! (3rd to 5th grade) These classes will be held at the Library in January. There will be no cost to participate. The program is being offered through the support of the family of Ben Deitz, a pioneering musician who died at the age of 32 and who spent all the summers of his life in Casco.
 
We will be offering a class Tuesdays in January at 5:30.  There are limited spots but there is a possibility of another class group so contact the library if you are interested.
