Kintegra Health
Kintegra Health is a community sponsored, family-centered provider of health care, health education and preventive care services without regard for the ability to pay. Kintegra’s core services include providing primary medical, behavioral health and dental care to children and adults in Lincoln County. Kintegra is committed to providing care for the whole family and the overall health needs of the whole patient. Behavioral health services are offered at all family practice locations. Pediatric medical services are co-located within the family medical practice, as are adult and children’s dental services. Kintegra is a healthcare home of choice for its patients. United Way of Lincoln County helps cover the services Kintegra provides for residents of Lincoln County.

Below is a success story regarding a Kintegra Patient that benefitted from the Medication Assistance Program (MAP).

Mr. Munroe came to Kintegra because he was experiencing a host of medical issues. He was referred to us by the hospital, as he experienced a DVT (deep pain thrombosis). Mr. Munroe was scheduled to review eligibility and be set up on the Kintegra Sliding Fee Scale. Mr. Munroe was not employed, had no insurance, and relied on assistance from friends and family to get by for his daily needs. Through assistance from Kintegra, Mr. Munroe was able to be set up on a sliding scale, an appointment was made to see a nurse practitioner, and through funding provided by United Way of Lincoln County we made sure he was able to get the medication that he needed. The program that helped Mr. Munroe is the Medication Assistance Program (MAP). Originally, Mr. Munroe was denied assistance through MAP due to his ack of income. A Community Resource Advocate working with Kintegra called the drug company and explained Mr. Munroe's situation. The Advocate was able to get him approved that day and received his first 90-day shipment the following week. Mr. Munroe has been very appreciative of the assistance that he has received at Kintegra. This assistance could not be possible without your generous contribution to the United Way of Lincoln County.
2020/2021 UWLC Campaign Ideas!
FUN IDEAS: Wacky Wagers
People donate to see wacky fundraising incentives that volunteers set. For example, people might donate $20 to see their boss dance through the center of town in a tutu, or $50 to get to pie someone in the face. This can be a fun way to bring your community together, and you can set competitions for who raises the most money with their incentive.

Take to social media to spread the word. This idea relies on people getting to hear about the hilarious incentives and be rewarded by seeing them fulfilled.
Thank You to our United Way of Lincoln County Board Members for their hard work and dedication to connecting people, resources and ideas to create a thriving community characterized by stability, educational success, and healthy members of our community.
