Due to the current health crisis, we will continue to hold Board of Education meetings virtually until further notice. Meetings will be livestreamed on Facebook @LivSchools.

PUBLIC COMMENT GUIDELINES:
Members of the public attending Board of Education meetings are permitted to voice their opinions on school-related topics at specified times during the meeting. Our goal is to maintain the formality, decorum and efficiency of our meetings in their current remote format. Therefore, we will adhere to the following guidelines.
- Those who wish to participate in the meeting may do so by registering for the webinar.
- Once in the webinar, those who wish to speak must raise their hand virtually and, when called on, must state their name and address for the record. Each speaker will have three minutes to address the Board. A timer will be displayed on the screen.
- The Board has the discretion and authority to mute any person who becomes disruptive during the meeting.
- Public comments will be accepted via email at TellUs@Livingston.org. Emailed comments must include the author’s name and address, and must be received by 6:00pm on the day of the meeting. Please write “Public Comment for Board Meeting” in the subject line. Emailed comments that adhere to the aforementioned guidelines will be read aloud during the meeting. The Board may summarize written comments to adhere to time limits, if necessary.
- The Board will address public comments during the meeting.
Please note that the Board will not be communicating through the livestream comments on Facebook or through any means of virtual communication within the webinar.

Hour of Code Family Night
|
Livingston Public Schools will host its fourth annual "Hour of Code Family Night" for students in Grades 3-5 on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. This event is held once a year in December during Computer Education Week. Students and their families spend an hour (or more!) exploring and sharing coding projects. Hour of Code events are held around the world and the coding event goal is "to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science."

BRAVO to the LHS Theatre! 🎭
|
The Livingston High School Theatre's fall drama, "Oedipus//Antigone," marked the directorial debut of Theatre Arts teacher Scott Patteson, who joined the staff this year! The audience was invited to watch the outdoor show in person or from home via livestream. Incredible acting, creative lighting and minimal sets combined with Lancer teamwork to make this "pandemic production" a success!
