Christmas Eve Services on Dec. 24 at 4:30 p.m. & 10:00 p.m.
and Christmas Day Service at 10:00 a.m.
Although the church offices are closed Dec. 24-26, our convenient worship services will occur on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Both the 4:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Christmas Eve services will feature harp and flute prelude music beginning a half hour before each service. Childcare will be offered at the early service through preK from 4:30-6:00 p.m. The 10:00 a.m. Christmas Day service (in the chapel, no childcare for this service) will include a special blessing of the gifts by The Rev. Bill Queen, so bring a gift you have received and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ on December 25!
Parents: Park & Playground Meetup of the Year on Sat. Dec. 28
We have one more Park & Playground meetup for kids and parents coming up just after Christmas from 9:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. at the Children’s Museum of Richmond . Nick Sollog is the organizer for these events and can bring coffee and doughnuts for folks, so please RSVP here !

Can You Help our Littlest Parishioners?
We are currently putting together a team of parishioners who would be willing to be “on call” during one service on one Sunday a month to provide some extra help to our nursery staff if needed. Our nursery is always professionally staffed but as we have seen some increases in nursery attendance sometimes an extra set of helping eyes or hands can go a long way. Volunteering to be a backup sub for the nursery is easy and can be done in less than a minute through this link .

From Caitlin at the Red Door Ministry Clothing Closet
Hi, My name is Caitlin Srock. I am one of the social work interns at GHTC and have been here since May of 2019. I would like you to know that the visitors of the Red Door lunch are extremely grateful for the donations you supply. We tend to have more male guests than female and are always in need of men's clothing, while we consistently have an abundance of women's clothing. I ask that you keep this in mind when donating in the future although we are always happy to accept any and all donations! Thank you for your support. I truly enjoy my time here serving with you.

Leave a Legacy through a Planned Gift to GHTC
When families gather together at the holidays, people often talk about past memories and future plans. If you would like to know more about planned giving, or to set up a legacy gift to Grace and Holy Trinity through a beneficiary change, a trust or your will, learn more online. Questions? Contact Barb Dodd at 804.359.5628 ext. 16.

From the Discernment Committee
As part of the process to find a new rector, the Discernment Committee will be sending out a survey in early January. A confidential, secure email for the group has been established at Discernment@ghtc.org and only members of the Discernment Committee have access to this email address. The detailed, 30 minute survey will be distributed by Constant Contact and include a link to a secure, online service through Survey Monkey. If you would prefer to receive the survey in a hard copy format (via mail) or to ensure your contact information is updated in the church records, please complete the form in the pew when you are in church and turn it into the offering plate or to an usher.
