TAKE NOTE
YES WE WILL STILL GATHER TO WORSHIP

This Sunday, 9.30 am

As of this writing, those people who are registered to attend in person this Sunday, who are not unwell on Sunday, and who are still comfortable with this type of gathering should still plan to attend.

Although the Provincial Government has recently announced some new restrictions these do not apply to our type of Church services following the Diocesan Amber protocols.

More info on this from the Diocese is available here.
FROM THE DISCERNMENT COMMITTEE

The St John's Discernment Committee (Detlef Dransch, Stephen Giles, and Jill Moll) has met with the Archdeacon of the Diocese and has provided the Diocese with the requested information about St John's, as per a new Appointment of Incumbents process being used by the Diocese.

The next steps in the process are:
  • the distribution of the information to clergy
  • the discernment of candidates by the Bishop's office and the college of archdeacons
  • selection of one or more candidates by the Bishop
  • interviews of those candidates by the St John's committee
Then followed by the final step, the Bishop's appointment of an Incumbent at St John's.

St John's is one of a number of parishes currently searching for a new incumbent.
REGISTER FOR NEXT SUNDAY'S SERVICE

Each Sunday you can register to attend the in-person Church Service planned for the following Sunday. So on Sunday the 11th of October you can go to this website www.backtochurch.ca and register for Sunday 18th of October. The Well is one of several social support centres that have been asked to expand their hours and creatively modify their services to help our most vulnerable, in a safe way, during these COVID times.
