A MESSAGE FROM MRS. HYLAND
Dear Berkeley Hills families,

Students will soon be engaged in exciting activities in the new Berkeley Hills STEAMS Lab !

We asked Mrs. Botula to describe the valuable skills your child will be developing in the robotics component of the program.

"At Eden, w e understand that it is critical to provide your child the opportunity to move from being a consumer of technology to being a creator and problem solver ! While Eden students have been learning block-based coding in their computer classes, now we have added robotics to our STEAMS (science, technology, engineering, arts, math, and spirituality) program

Robotics is not only a visual and tangible way to teach programming, it also requires creative thinking, critical thinking, lots of problem-solving, perseverance, and teamwork . Robotics is a perfect way to provide hands-on opportunities for your child to use technology to create, solve problems, and have fun ."

Enjoy a few sneak peek photos of the STEAMS Lab!

Blessings,
Mrs. Hyland
Berkeley Hills Principal
