2020-2021 Reenrollment is Underway!

Please complete the reenrollment form for the 2020-21 school year on or before Friday, January 31st to secure your child's space.

Park Maitland Annual Spelling Bee

We had 27 participants in grades 4-6 in this year's Spelling Bee on Thursday, Jan 16th. Each class had a winner and a runner up participate.  After 10 rounds we did not have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner but instead we had the 6 outstanding finalists listed below:

Ben Demetriades
Ashton Paul
Maryam Sheikh

In order to determine a winner, these finalists completed a written test on Friday, Jan 18th with the following results:

1st place - Sammy Lou
2nd place - Ben Demetriades
3rd place -  Ashton Paul

Important Lunch Reminder:

Students should bring a packed lunch or order from Catered lunch (Emma Bean or Bagel King) each day. If a student accidentally forgets to bring his/her lunch, Bagel King will provide food.

Please do not have food delivered
or dropped off to school
for your child/children.

4th-6th Grade Parent Coffee Talk

Come and learn valuable tips and insights from teachers with regard to project management and grade-specific answers to all your parental questions regarding your child's learning.

Teachers will show exciting project workflow as you "live the life" of your student and follow an assignment from its inception all the way to assessment and exhibition!

Important News:
 New law goes into effect- as of January 1st, a new law went into effect making the use of handheld devices a traffic infraction.

Dear parents, 

Welcome back from the winter holiday break. Thank you for setting a good example for our students by not utilizing cell phones while driving. Remember the use of cell phones or other similar electronic devices is prohibited while in the carpool line. As you can see, it is now a state law as well. Please continue to be patient and respectful as we all work together to ensure the safety of the students, parents, faculty, and staff of our great school!

Help! Ms.Talbert is working on a special project in the library about reading step-by-step directions. If you have any Legos at home that you are no longer using, please consider donating them to help with her project.

The money raised will help Park Maitland package 25,000 meals on February 12th through FEEDING CHILDREN EVERYWHERE. The meals will be sent to the Bahamas, each ticket provides 20 meals for people in need.

Our outstanding student athletes are showcasing their talents and learning about the importance of empathy and integrity in sports as they sharpen their skills. CLICK HERE to view season schedules. We hope you can make it out to cheer them on!

Our flag football season is underway, come out and support our Eagles!


Basketball season has begun! We have a record  96 student s playing basketball this season and our first all girls team!

Once the game schedules are released, we will post them here and to the athletics website. Come and cheer on our Eagles!

KoPIXmo will be taking large, black and white photos of students at school from Monday, Jan. 27th - Wednesday Jan. 29th. There is nothing special that parents need to do for these engaging, casual photos but look forward to receiving something special!
In observation of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday, there will be no school on Monday, January 20th.
Yearbook Ads are on sale to ALL GRADES! January 25th is the final deadline to purchase your ad. We will be unable to accommodate orders after this date, so don't delay.

Due to inclement weather, the Grade 4 field trip to St. Augustine has been rescheduled to Monday, February 24th.
K-5 Students used recycled items to make their "Recycled Snowmen". Brrr!
3rd grade students during homeroom having fun with friends...and of course Ms. Commins!
Ms. Leider’s K5 students are learning all about Jackson Pollock and his revolutionary painting style! This week they are drawing BIG and using their whole bodies on massive paper!
Students are working hard in the pool perfecting their swim strokes.
