Dear YIS Friends:
Our own Arlene Kleinberg
will be honored at the Westchester Jewish Council's 44th Anniversary Gala on Saturday night, February 1, 2020.
The Council is the Jewish community's umbrella organization in Westchester; and its 140 member organizations include the Young Israel of Scarsdale
and the various Jewish day schools our
children attend.

Arlene (with Michael's encouragement and support) is a leader in many organizations we all know and love-YIS, WDS, UJA and, of course, WJC, to name but a few.  Everything Arlene does is done graciously, enthusiastically and with her entire heart and soul.  She is a model of communal responsibility and always answers "Hineini" when called upon to serve.

If you have not already responded, please join in the tribute to Arlene by attending the Gala (catered by Foremost) on February 1st and/or by placing an ad in the Gala Journal.  The (final) extended deadline is January 16th.  There will be a printed journal and all copy needs to reach the printer by January 16th.  You may RSVP by clicking on the link: www.wjcouncil.org
Further details are in the two attachments.  Thanks, in advance, for your support.
The Frisch School's Annual Dinner will take place on Saturday night, Feb 8th,
honoring Ilana and Stuart Goldberg, Allison Adler, Ben Breda '99, and Barry & Barbara Kessler. Reservations and more information at  www.frischdinner.com

Space is limited. Early registration is advised. You can register here.
