75 percent of opioid misuse starts with people using medication that wasn’t prescribed for them. It's usually taken from a friend or family member, often without their knowledge.
Join us on Saturday, April 30th at the Clallam County Courthouse parking lot, anytime between 10 am and 2 pm for Med Take Back Day with Clallam County Sherriff's Office and the Target Zero Taskforce. Bring unwanted or expired medications, and leave with a lockable storage bag provided to residents at no cost by the Port Angeles Healthy Youth Coalition, while supplies last.
Each Lockbag is white laminated nylon and measures at 12.0” (L) x 8.0” (H) that can hold up to 24 prescription bottles. Learn more about safe storage at, https://getthefactsrx.com/
Safe storage resources paid for through the Port Angeles Healthy Youth Coalition with funding from Washington Health Care Authority.
