ACA 2020 Lunar New Year Celebration Events

ACA invites friends of all communities, or ganizations, and businesses to gather with us to joyously usher in th is Lunar New Year. Join us as we celebrate this important holiday and promote a culturally-diverse Michigan! Celebration details are as followed:

Canton Center Lunar New Year Celebration

ACA Canton Center will host a Lunar New Year Celebration with the cultural display, authentic Chinese finger food sampling, chopstick games, calligraphy, and performances, etc.

Detroit Center Open House

ACA Detroit Center will host a Lunar New Year Open House with the cultural display, authentic Chinese finger food sampling and calligraphy, etc.

Admission ticket prices:

Members: $55

General: $65

The event will include an authentic 10-course gourmet Chinese dinner, entertainment, networking, silent auction and raffle drawing, etc.

Lantern Festival

Kindly contact ACA if you would like to have a booth at this event and food and handcrafts are preferred.

Price of each booth:

$100 for businesses

$50 for individuals

$40 for non-profit organizations

$25 for students.

Booth Registration

ACA will host a grand Lantern Festival at our Chinese Community Center located in Madison Heights, feature traditional Lunar New Year games, New Year couplet writing, New Year handcraft and face-painting, and authentic Chinese food sale. Admission is free but registration is needed. Please bring your family for a joyful weekend to celebrate our Lunar New Year tradition! In addition, in partnership with volunteers from the Wayne State University School of Medicine, free health screening for the attendees will be available.
