Dear NSSRA Families,

As you know, on Friday, May 29 much of Illinois entered phase 3 of Governor Pritzker’s Restore Illinois Plan. We are working very hard to offer appropriate in-person activities for NSSRA participants as soon as possible, but in light of the ongoing COVID-19 concerns and subsequent safety measures in place to keep our community healthy, we are cancelling all in-person summer programming as previously advertised . These cancellations include NSSRA programs, special events and trips. Specific cancellation details are below.

For the remainder of 2020 we will be evaluating in-person program opportunities on a month-to-month basis, and will provide monthly program information and registration periods in place of seasonal guides and registration periods. Our online virtual programming will continue, and we plan to begin offering small, in-person programs in late July. More information will be released about these opportunities in the next few weeks.

Our Summer 2020 Program Guide has been updated ( view here ) with program cancellations. Please note:  refunds for summer programs and special events will be processed as household credits. If you would like a monetary refund, please contact NSSRA Registrar Jeanne Cook at jcook@nssra.org .

Thank you for your patience as we navigate offering as many services as possible safely.
