Pulitzer Prize winning author Elizabeth Strout delivers a humourous, heartwarming, and often heart breaking follow up to "Olive Kitteridge." Each chapter focuses on a different personality in Olive's world and is cleverly interwoven to create a seamless story. Wonderful, heartfelt writing, and a must read for Olive Kitteridge fans.

The Art of Gathering:
How We Meet and Why it Matters
by Priya Parker
This book will forever alter the way we look at how we host our next event or gathering, from birthday celebrations, family reunions and dinner parties, to group or business meetings, industry fundraisers, or conferences. This must-read shows a new way to plan our events that will turn our gatherings from lackluster and unproductive to successful, productive, amazing, and memorable. I highly recommend this for everyone to read, including book clubs!

Whole Food Cooking Every Day
by Amy Chaplin
This is a gorgeous cookbook full of stunning photography and delicious, healthy recipes. The design is perfection as it is big, but not oversized and lays flat, which is crucial in the kitchen!
Amy’s philosophy is that cooking with ingredients as close to their natural state as possible can be inspiring and nourishing. A real winner!

JAN'S PICK
The Wild Coasts of Canada

The Breath of a Whale
by Leigh Calvez
Leigh Calvez invites us to join her as she studies and observes various species of Pacific Ocean whales. At times, dreamlike, we float alongside her with these gentle giants of the sea. At other
times, Leigh provides scientifically grounded statistics and research that allow us a glimpse into the behaviour and cultures of Humpbacks, Blue whales, Orcas, and others. She inspires us to
become fierce defenders of cetacean habitats and communities. This thoughtful and sensitive reflection is must read material for anyone who is interested in animal behaviour, deep ocean
mysteries and inhabitants, conservation, and those passionate about the futures of our non-human relations.
