Email #3 - Flight Schedule, Meeting, and Masada
from Pastor Aaron Layne
Like the magi, we’ll be heading to a foreign land to experience the Christ child and ministry of Jesus in a few months! I had a video conference with Pastor Lowell Michelson and Vicar Corey Wagonfield from Lord of Life in Cincinnati, yesterday – and we are so excited!
You can find our flight schedule on the button below. We will be departing Columbus (CMH) March 17 at 5:05 p.m.

You will note that there is an “extra night” schedule. There are 9 people from the Lord of Life group who will travel a few hours behind our main group (Draggoo, Fiebig, Fiebig, Johns, Kreimer, Kreimer, Metzger, Schehr, Wagonfield) to accommodate seating. This does not affect anyone from Advent, so no worries. I simply want to make sure you are all fully aware of what is happening with our full group.
Please join us at the

Masada
At Pastor Lowell's and my request an addition has been made to our itinerary: Masada. This will be on Day 8, March 24 when we are also visiting the Dead Sea and Bethany, the village of Lazarus, Mary and Martha.

Masada is one of the most famous archaeological sites in Israel. It is best known from a dramatic episode described by Josephus in his account The Jewish War when the Judean rebels in the First Jewish Revolt made an epic last stand against the Tenth Roman Legion.

Please be advised that each passenger will need to pay an additional $30 per person on the spot for the entrance fee. But please trust me, it is WELL worth it!
