Trust Offices Closed December 23 - January 1 *
The Children’s Trust family wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday, and our very best wishes for the New Year! Please note we will be
closed December 23 through January 1, reopening January 2. The provider bulletin will resume on Wednesday, January 8.
With the closure we want to ensure providers receive payment. To do this, your
invoice needs to be approved prior to December 17. To ensure you get a check before we close please submit a complete invoice immediately without any errors. Payments will resume the week of January 5, 2020.
Trust-funded providers, if your offices will be open December 24 through January 1, please feel free to continue submitting any outstanding invoices. However, we will not be reviewing or processing invoices and payments until our office reopens on January 2. We will review any invoices submitted during this period upon our return.

We Heard You! Open Labs are Back! *
We have heard your requests to bring back Open Labs! The first session will focus on Differentiated Literacy Instruction (DLI) requirements, implementation and data entry. Trust staff will be available to work with your program staff to ensure that DLI is implemented with the correct participants, with fidelity and captured accurately in Trust Central. This opportunity is by invitation only and you may have received a link to register through Trust Academy. If you feel that you would benefit from this opportunity and were not contacted, please reach out to your Program Manager as soon as possible!

The David P. Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality has recently updated the SEL PQA. You will receive an email with the updated assessment tool that will be utilized during the 2019-2020 CAT visits and the link to the webinar that explains the changes to the assessment. Agency Admin, log in to
Trust Central to access the Trust Academy module.
If your position is directly contracted with The Trust, but you do not have access to Trust Central, see your Agency Admin to get started. For subcontractors, professional services, and ‘match’ positions, you can access the required online courses and live events by registering independently as explained in registration options 2-4 in the
Trust Academy Guide.

This training expands upon the skills taught in the Introduction to Effective Behavior Management training by teaching additional effective strategies for reducing behavioral disruptions in your program.

48in48 Website Grant for Small Nonprofits *
48in48 is joining the Super Bowl Host Committee to create a positive impact on South Florida. 48in48 is a nonprofit providing free websites to 48 organizations by using local talents of digital and marketing volunteers. Interested nonprofits must apply for the Website Grant and complete the required coursework for their new site. Once completed, they will be paired with a local team of volunteers, usually coming from local corporations, who will build the site in 48 hours on Jan 24-26.

PhilanthropyMiami is holding Fundraising Fundamentals, an educational experience just for people who have entered the fundraising profession in the last 2 years. This includes, but is not limited to, preparing, maintaining reviewing, and analyzing accounting records in accordance with The Trust accounting policies and procedures, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), regulations promulgated by the Governmental Accounting Standards (GASB) and Government Auditing Standards. Work performance is reviewed through conferences, reports, a mastery of the Services and Activities Management Information System (SAMIS) and observation of results achieved.
