Pharmacy's New Look
and Services

The UHS Pharmacy got an upgrade and has been expanded its offerings! Along with the bigger space, we can dispense ADHD medication in the new semester. This new offering is a real life example of student voices being heard at UHS. The idea came from advocates within the Student Health Advisory Committee and it is now a reality.
SHIP Waiver

The Spring 2021 waiver period is December 1, 2020 to January 1, 2021. All waivers received between January 2, 2021 and January 15, 2021 will be subject to a late fee of $75. Absolutely no waiver applications will be accepted after January 15, 2021.

CA COVID Notify
Did you know that a key tool for slowing the spread of COVID-19 on campus and in the community is right in your pocket?

CA COVID Notify will quickly notify you if you've been exposed so you can seek medical attention and reduce your risk for loved ones. Your identity will never be revealed and your location will never be tracked.

The exposure notification system is a program for students, staff, and faculty throughout the UC system. Bears Protect Bears - add CA COVID Notify to your phone today. Available for iPhone and Android devices.
COVID-19 Reminders
If you have traveled home for the Thanksgiving holiday and
  • have returned to Berkeley, please note UC Berkeley's expectations regarding testing and sequestering.
  • are remaining home the rest of the semester as recommended, please try to avoid meeting with elderly people over 65 or any other high risk groups. Additionally, it is important to get tested 3-5 days after a potential exposure.
  • you are unsure if you have been exposed, you should quarantine for 7-10 days. If you have been exposed to a known positive, please do not travel. You should quarantine for 14 days. Quarantine means staying in your room, avoiding contact with other people, and wearing a mask when you leave your room if you need to do that.

Break Reminders
Remember to:
  • Schedule any necessary appointments, virtual or otherwise.
  • Refill prescriptions.
  • Pharmacy closed Dec 19 & 20 & Dec 23-Jan 4.Prescriptions must be filled and picked up by Dec 22 at 3pm. Processing can take up to 1 business day so plan accordingly. 
  • Schedule any necessary COVID surveillance testing you need.
  • Note UHS Winter Break closure dates.
  • Urgent Care and Pharmacy are closed weekends beginning Dec 19 & 20. All UHS departments are closed Dec 23-Jan 4 and Jan 18. Weekend service resumes Jan 16 & 17.
