It's been a busy February here at The Guild! Students and residents had fun with Valentine's Day celebrations and a visit to Charmingfare Farm. We announced the premiere of our short film, The World Got Smaller: The Spirit of The Guild During COVID-19 earlier this month. The Guild announces: The World Got Smaller film event
We'll be premiering our short film, The World Got Smaller: The Spirit of The Guild During COVID-19 exclusively for The Guild community on Thursday, March 10th from 7-8 p.m. This film features interviews with Guild staff, students, residents, parents, and community partners and provides a first-hand look at how the pandemic curtailed the community life of individuals with intellectual disabilities. The Guild celebrates Black History Month
This month, we celebrated Black History Month by honoring Black disability rights activists who paved the way for people with disabilities to be fully included in their communities. Read more about the important contributions of Lois Curtis and Brad Lomax on our Facebook page.
Guild's CEO elected to serve on state's Technical Advisory Groups
We're excited to announce that The Guild's CEO, Amy Sousa, has been selected to serve on two of the state's Technical Advisory Groups: Health Equity Data Standards and Collection and Health Equity Accountability. These groups will improve standardized data collection and health equity accountability principles for those served by the Executive Office of Health and Human Services. Congratulations, Amy!

Laura has served in a variety of roles within the organization, including Residential Manager and Associate Residential Director. Robert Sousa elected to Guild's Board of Trustees
We're excited to announce that Robert Sousa, Assistant Vice President, Asset Liability Analyst at Middlesex Savings Bank, has recently been elected to The Guild's Board of Trustees.
