Mattress Fundraiser for Those Transitioning from Homeless Shelters
NHMR is supporting the CTR Foundation fundraiser for 100 mattresses for individuals or families transitioning from homeless shelters into permanent housing. Our partners at the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness received furniture donated by IKEA, including bed frames - but there are no mattresses.
Everyone knows how long the gift of a mattress can last.

The November election is less than two months away. All registered voters are eligible to vote by absentee ballot this year because of the pandemic. Absentee ballot applications were mailed to every registered voter but you can also get one, along with more election info, online here. Polls will be open as usual on Election Day for those who want to vote in person. |

2021 Dues Renewal Notices Sent - Renew Early!
Check your inbox! Emails have gone out to all NHMR Members inviting you to renew your Association membership for 2021. We are rolling out the dues billing early this year as we have had numerous requests from members to pay earlier in the year rather than at the end of the year when so many other expenses are due. It is not mandatory to pay early but if you would like, the option is available, as are payment plans. Your on-time payment by January 31, 2021 will result in a credit toward a FREE CE Course at the NHMR Real Estate School in 2021.

Receive a Realtor®-Branded Face Mask with RPAC Contribution |
Realtors - Real Estate is an essential business. Your contribution to RPAC will further the efforts of those lobbying on behalf of Real Estate in CT. Realtor Members donating $30+ between now and November 30th will receive a Premium three-layer Face Mask. When your donation has been confirmed, we will contact you to arrange receipt of your mask.
Your RPAC contribution is voluntary and must be paid with a separate personal check or credit card. Contributions are not tax deductible for Federal or State income tax purposes. You may contribute more or less than the suggested amount. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal and the National Association of REALTORS® or any of its state associations or local associations will not favor or disfavor any member because of amount contributed. Your contribution to the joint political fundraising effort will be divided. 70% of your contribution will be used by Connecticut RPAC to support state and local political candidates. The remaining 30% will be provided to the National RPAC to support Federal candidates. The portion used by National RPAC will be charged against the applicable contribution limits of the Federal Law for an individual under 52 U.S.C. 30116, which allows a $5,000 maximum aggregate contribution limit from individuals to RPAC in any calendar year. The portion used by State RPAC will be charged against the applicable contribution limits for an individual to a continuing political committee which, under sec. 9-612(a) of the Connecticut General Statutes, allows a $1,000 maximum aggregate conribution per calendar year. Any solicitation of membership in RPAC is intended for members of the National Association of REALTORS®, its State Associations, and local Boards of REALTORS®. Nothing herein shall be construed as a solicitation of contributions from non-members, which is prohibited by law. A copy of our report is filed by RPAC with the Federal Election Commission and is available for purchase from the Federal Election Commission, Washington, D.C., 20463. Additional reports filed as required by Federal and State Law.
