Second Drop this Thursday 5/21/20

These days, we all need somebody to lean on and UNION is here for you with a brand new, sticky icky, dank and fruity Double IPA. We're tasting pineapple and mango and a subtle bitterness in the dry finish of this big 8.6% ABV DIPA.

All Together is a worldwide collaboration brew hosted by Other Half Brewing and brewed to support hospitality professionals during these crazy times.  We followed the base recipe provided by Other Half pretty closely and only made a few small changes. We added a hefty amount of malted oats for a silky body, we swapped out the Cascade hop pellets for concentrated Cascade Lupulin Powder, and we added a little Columbus to the dry hop additions. Our version of All Together was hopped with Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe, Columbus, and Cascade Lupulin Powder.

Incredibly flavorful & aromatic 5% farmhouse ale exploding with notes of mango, apricot, banana, bubblegum and lemon zest. Belgian-inspired Grisette brewed with a large amount of spelt malt & raw wheat for a creamy body. Fermented with our house saison strain and dry hopped with fruity New Zealand varieties, Rakau and Taiheke. Named after our brewery dog, Grizzly, and released for his 10th birthday.

In Awe of: Apricot Cherry is the next fruited sour ale in our 'In Awe of' series. This version was fermented with a very large amount of apricot, sweet cherry and tart cherry. Delightfully sour, low residual sugar, and full of creamy apricot & bright cherry notes.

After our friends at Black Flag brewed a hazy IPA with all New Zealand hops called "Gondor Calls For Haze", we couldn't resist playing along with another Tolkien inspired beer of our own. And Mobtown Will Answer is our response, a hazy IPA brewed and double dry hopped with NZ Motueka, Waimea, & Pacific Gem. Almien!

Hazy IPA meets old school farmhouse ale. The Stalk Market is brewed with spelt, flaked wheat, pale wheat, biscuit & pilsner malt, and fermented with a lovely belgian saison yeast. Aggressively hopped in the whirlpool and fermenter with hand selected Azacca and El Dorado. Hand painted label by our friend and bartender Toni. No turnips were harmed in the making of this product!

Hazy IPA brewed with Citra, Idaho 7, and Simcoe  This hazy is leaning more towards the dank side than the fruity side. If you like Mylar Wizard this could be its smaller cousin...

West Cost DIPA brewed with Strata and Centennial Hops. We were itching to use Strata again and thought it would go great with old school Centennial for this new school take on a WC DIPA. This big brew will be heady and just sweet enough to carry the hops smoothly without being malt forward.

This New England IPA is brewed with a silky-smooth base of malted oats and delicate pilsner malt. Hopped excessively with our favorite fruit-bomb Mosaic and a unique German-grown Amarillo that is tropical unlike any other. When combined with our classic full-bodied English ale yeast we get a flavor profile that is straight juice, bursting with citrus, tangerine and papaya flavor! Wrangle responsibly!

Much Ado is a traditional Helles Lager brewed to traditional German standards. This pale lager is triple decocted and hopped with noble hops, which gives this beer a clean, light but malty backbone, bright golden hue, and the yeast provides a nice balance to the noble hop character. Fresh baked biscuits, subtly floral and herbal hops with restrained bitterness help keep the balance malty but not sweet, which helps make this beer a refreshing, everyday drink. This beer was naturally carbonated and lagered for weeks, lending to a soft, creamy, clean, and bright finished product.

Channel your inner beast. When our brewmaster pulls a fresh beer off the canning line he brings everyone close to crack it open and inhale the instantaneous aroma explosion. It's ritualistic. This sort of obsession led to vision quests in Pacific Northwest hop fields, not to mention years of maniacal recipe modification on a small scale. Embrace your inner HOOTIE and fly silently into the night!

We packed double the dry-hops into this DIPA, this time using Cashmere hops our brewers fell in love with during hop harvest, which help amplify the tropical, fruity hop flavor and aroma. And because we can never get enough, we did it twice. Let it ring

Inspired by the Belgian brewing tradition, this aromatic ale - made with malted and un-malted wheat - actually showcases Guinness' yeast from Dublin. Guinness yeast is so versatile that it can produce wonderful fruity, peppery aromas, which are accentuated by using grains of paradise, lemon peel and sweet and bitter orange peels in the whirlpool. This beer is perfect for summer sipping, with a crisp, refreshing finish and surprisingly low bitterness.

Inspired by the local legend of the Female Stranger, Long Black Veil is jet black with a tan head. Piney, citrusy hops burst from the inky depths to mingle with notes of coffee and dark chocolate.

India Pale Ale hopped with Citra, El Dorado, & Chinook. This beer has a ton of pineapple on the nose. The flavor is the same with some clementine, with a nice pillowy mouthful, and the chinook adds a nice west coast bitterness and pine to the beer.
