There are two end of the year events for you to know about.
Culmination Night: Monday, June 1 at 4:00. All classes from Pre-kindergarten through Fourth will be showcasing the year and remote learning. Please join your children's classes to see all their accomplishments. A Zoom link will be sent out soon.

Friday, June 5th- Wrap Up Day* : Here is the link   Lower School Cubby Item Retrieval, Yearbook Pick-Up and Item Drop Off Sign-Up. June 5, 2020, 8am-4pm .   for everyone to have a designated time to come to school for:
cubby clean out
technology drop-o ff  ( for those who borrowed Chrome Books)
Library books drop offs
yearbook pick up
*Face masks and social distancing will be required.

 Dignity Memorial Drawing Competition
Dignity Memorial here in Chicago, Illinois is hosting a Memorial Day Kids Drawing Competition 2020. They created it as an outreach program for children to get involved with this day of remembrance, despite COVID-19 hindering the traditional way we celebrate.
Spread the word to all your family and friends with young artists who are looking for an opportunity to showcase their work!

Third graders were tasked to use two pieces of paper and some books to create a bridge that would hold the most amount of pennies. They also learned about the structure of bridges and completed an interactive sort.





The JKers are on the letter Yy and everyone had to share something that’s yummy and yucky, along with writing a letter and using their Yy words. This boy says broccoli is yummy!

Reminders
  Please remember that Roycemore Lower School is a nut/peanut-free environment.  Please remember this when you send in birthday treats and snacks for your children.  There are many other allergies, specific to individual children, so please check with your classroom teacher before sending in treats.   Thank you in advance for caring about all of our children.
