The scholarship is a special chance for these women to come forward, attend the summit, meet their peers, interact and learn from the best business resource persons in our community and see how their ambition to start and grow their businesses will contribute to our city’s economic success, job creation and crime reduction. Cindy Cohen, founder of C2 Your Health Women’s Initiative Inc. and the Women’s Entrepreneur Summit says “We want to show these women that coming from a low income neighborhood isn’t a barrier to success but the ability to learn and stand out as they chase their business dreams is what matters.”
The 2019 Women’s Entrepreneur Summit is where budding entrepreneurs get to learn business skills and knowledge, share business ideas, get advice, network and access support to launch and grow their business. Whether it is starting a grocery store, designing and selling clothes, setting up a photography business, saloon, cooking culinary treat to serve our hungry community, our past summit showed us that bright ideas from women are out there.
