The Connecticut State Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education (BSE), is planning to implement a new Individualized Education Program (IEP) document and the Special Education Data System (CT-SEDS) in the 2022-23 school year.

Tuesdays and Thursdays for the first four weeks and Tuesdays for the last four weeks.
 Starting on Tuesday,
March 15th and ending May 3rd  
6:00 – 7:30 pm

This intensive eight-week virtual series is designed to help parents and professionals gain the skills and knowledge necessary to be effective members of the Planning and Placement Team (PPT). This training series will prepare participants for a variety of roles at the school, district, regional, and state levels.

The Individualized Education Program (IEP) trainings for February are full. However, please visit our YouTube Channel to view the recordings in both English and Spanish.

Come learn about the changes to CT's Individualized Education Program Form coming up for the 2022-2023 school year. This presentation will review the changes to how the form will be filled out, how data will be collected, and how CT Core Standards will be used to help develop appropriate goals and objectives. This is an opportunity to ask questions and be prepared for this new document at your child's Planning and Placement Meeting (PPT) next school year.
