Each year Beta Club sponsors Wonderful Wednesday Dress Down Days for teachers, and the money raised goes to Jay's Hope. During the 2019-2020 school year we raised $1,285, in spite of the pandemic. Thank you to all of the teachers who contributed to this worthy cause! You are a CHAMP!

Also, Mara Emami conducted a mini fundraiser for Jay's Hope. She decided to dedicate the student section theme to Childhood Cancer Awareness. "While I was glad to raise awareness by hosting a Gold Out in the Dawg Pound, I wanted to do more. After time and thought, I decided I wanted to raise money for Jay's Hope, and wanted to achieve this by having the whole community  participate. The cause would be called "Bandanas for Childhood Cancer Awareness". After yellow bandanas were donated for the cause, they were sold for two dollars each and all the money raised was presented to Jay's Hope." This took place at the MP vs. Newnan game, and all of the yellow bandanas were sold and thanks to generous donations, we raised $108. "Although it may not seem as that much money, I believe every little bit helps."
