Hagey Coach & Tours Says Goodbye
In a heartfelt Facebook post on October 13th, PBA Member Hagey Coach & Tours said "After 84 years of offering the finest in motor coach tours, Hagey Coach & Tours is permanently closing its doors. We will finish our remaining scheduled October and November public tours and private charters.
It's been a delightful experience to see the USA and Canada with all of you. We thank you for the wonderful times, and for your patronage. We hope you have great memories to cherish. We shall always remember our good times with each one of you. With heartfelt thanks from all of us."

Brian Hagey let PBA know that they are completing a few scheduled charters and tours and will do their last trip forever on November 20th to Sight & Sound. Their office will close on November 30, 2020.

Anderson Coach & Travel Talks About Business During COVID and What Help They Need
"We had fall college athletics that were going to be very sustaining for us with the various colleges, which includes Mount Union and a lot of the D-III schools in the region that we provide transportation services for and with," said Doug Anderson, president of PBA Member Anderson Coach & Travel. "When they pulled all their fall sports our revenue went from what was going to be probably 45% of our normal revenue down to 8% of our revenue." Read more...

Wolf's Bus Lines Makes Front Cover of Gettysburg Times
For the last seven months, a normally perpetually moving fleet of buses and transport vehicles at PBA Member Wolf's Bus Lines has sat mostly dormant. More than 70 full- and part-time employees have been almost entirely laid off since March 17. What's worse, there seems to be no end in sight and the government hasn't stepped in to help, said Tracy Wolf-Stroyny, the company's vice president. Wind Creek Bethlehem Welcomes Back Buses, With Modifications
PBA Member, Wind Creek Bethlehem has launched a modified bus program "to resume business efforts" at the casino, spokesperson Julia Corwin said. "At this time, we have reduced the incoming buses by 80% to maintain a socially distanced environment for our guests," Corwin said. The casino's busing program had been suspended since mid-March. PBA to Offer Virtual Distracted Driver Train-the-Trainer Program January 26th
FMCSA has awarded a cooperative agreement to the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) Training, Research and Education for Driving Safety (TREDS) program to provide training to Commercial Drivers about the dangers of driving distracted. TREDS is interested in developing instructor teams in ten different states to prepare traffic safety professionals to deliver the Just Drive: Deliver Distraction-Free curriculum to commercial drivers. Pfizer, BioNTech say Covid vaccine is more than 90% effective-'great day for science and humanity'
Dr. Albert Bourla, chairman and CEO of Pfizer, hailed the trial results as a "great day for science and humanity." Pfizer and BioNTech said the case split between vaccinated individuals and those who received a placebo indicated a vaccine efficacy rate of above 90% at seven days after the second dose. Gov. Wolf Has Signed Senate Bill 1281 Into Law As Act 105 of 2020
